OK Been away for a little while. Family issues have kept me away a little but as these have 'developed' normal service will be resumed shortly.

Anyway, as per the signature I am changing the VRS for an Octy II Elegance 140 bhp PD Derv. Garage kindly leant me the car and over 1200 miles I have come to love it. SWMBO also thinks it's great.

Main reason is that although I love the furby it just has been a bit of a disappointment. There have been a few problems with it but all have been sorted very efficiently. Just after driving the octy I want to grow up - a good sign - the mid life crisis must be over).

However I am still keeping to the Skoda brand. Tried a Honda Civic to convince myself I wasn't making a mistake but as much as I loved it it just wasn't the new octy.

Am I mad?

Great move. More room, you can tow, and still get remaps.

Not mad at all, good move really, great car, all the toys, just as much fun in more comfort .....enjoy

Feels quicker actually. Better for long drives anyway

Luckily I drive both although my Octy 2 is the 105 bhp PD.

I think they are both great cars in thier own way.
