2010 diesel yeti

Just looking at the 2 radiator fans. If they both run in the same direction, one seems to pull air through the rad and the other pushes it forwards. Going by the shape of the blades. LH spins CW front the front. If the RH spins CW from the front then it will pull air towards the radiator.

If you switch on the A/C with bonnet open you can probably observe directly which way they spin, can't you?

Yep.

Different blade profiles and they spin opposite directions.

ODB port not connecting to scanner

I have a 2010 Fabia 1.2 and the ODB port isn't playing ball. Tried 2 different scanners and they both fail to auth with the ECU. I initially thought it might be a bad fuse so I replaced num 22, didnt change a thing. Slipped the port out of the dash and made sure that the wires are fully seated in the connector, no change. I've tried with electrics on and also engine on, doesn't make a difference. Does anybody have any suggestions on what to look for next?

Hi All, I want get any advice when it comes to using the obd11 or other such scanners on the facelift mk4, especially stuff like changing the settings for auto stop start and lane departure. Can you unlock the sfd2 with this device? There website is very confusing as to whether it will work. Cheers

Hi, My tensioner failed at low revs and speed, the car juddered and stalled. It restarted and I drove home about a mile steadily. It seemed to drive normally if a little noisy. Next day it would start but not run. The check engine light was on. Pretty sure the Timing jumped a tooth. Q. do the valves always hit the pistons? do the valves always bend? Might I get away with an new tensioner and re-time? TIA
