1.8tsi air intake cover.

Featured Replies

The air intake cover on my recently purchased 2010 Scout 1.8tsi keeps falling off. Should there be a filter or something in the chamber underneath? If not, is there any objection to simply glue or tape it down?

Ok, picked up a new cover from eBay and that fixed it. I also notice that at the front of the air intake (flat thin clear opening) there seems to be attachment points for a further part between the air intake and the front panel. Can anyone confirm there is a further part needed or maybe direct me to a diagram of the air intake?
