Glow Plug - Pressure Sensor

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've removed the glow plug today - part number as follows:-

BorgWarner

VW-AG 03L 905 061H

E2520031965

I have ordered what I thought to be a suitable replacement from eBay, again a BorgWarner plug, with PSG007 on it (obviously not a VAG stamped part, ok).

Having installed it, I've now got the EML light on, complaining about the pressure signal from cylinder 3.

Any ideas please?

Thanks,

Mike.

Have you cleared codes manually. Think sometimes it requires manual removal of code when new gplug/sensor is fitted. It could also be a wiring fault from sensor and I think when fitting the new one with pressure sensor it needs ecu/calibration.

I replaced ours in 2024. Got a genuine VW one from "Tomi Czech trading" on eBay. VW part No. 03L905061 L. I think it was about £125. I can't remember if I reset the light with OBDeleven. I think I probably did, but it's been fine since.
