I want a Haynes Manual for my Fabia vrs but they don't do one. What will be the nearest, one for a Polo or one for an Ibiza :confused:

I think I will wait,it's just that i had a T%$t of a job doing the rear pads yesterday. It doesn't say if it covers the vrs though...

The Haynes Skoda Felicia manual number 3505 covers most aspects of the 1.4 mpi engine fitted to the Fabia

Getting the piston to go back without the correct vag tool. You have to push it back while turning it, not easy

So the Felicia manual is the best to go for ? I heard the Polo / Ibiza manual had the most up to date information - I ll stop off at my Halford and have a look......... : )

Felicia will help a little with the engine, nothing else though.

You kinda answered your own statement there. Having the correct tools is part of the job. Halfords sell the wind back tool for the calipers.

Didn't know I needed a special tool until I had the caliper off.Hence the need for a manual so I don't make the same mistake again.

I am not totally certain of this but I seem to remember that the new Haynes manual does NOT include information on the TDI PD engines. I am sure someone will shoot me down if I am wrong. lol

look at the line under Skoda Fabia manual , covers hatchback, saloon and estate models inc VRS and special editions iirc

IIRC Fabia only has PD TDI engines.

Had a look at the felicia manual today - No info on tehre about changing power steering pump or the like - Someinfo on general car care but that was to be expected

Felicia wont have any info on the PAS pump, most dont have PAS and the ones that do arent electric anyhow.
