Superb 2.0cr 2010 dpf removal

Featured Replies

CBBB engine. Will it drop off with car jacked or do i need lift?

Its pretty high on engine bay so if its not possible to turn or twist there is no enough room if using jack?

300k miles soon and its started to smoke heavy when dpf burning starts. Also burning time is now approx 30-40 miles (before 10).

Its old so im scared to use vagcom burning procedure.

350€ is cleaning here for removed dpf and garantee that cleaning is succesfully managed.

I reckon if you have a lift available use it as it will make things much easier and a lot quicker. You may get away with car ramps but last thing you want is to remove it and not be able to get it out. Depends on how high the jack will go ?

No lift, thats the reason that i asked 😁

Maybe jacks or wheels under tyres will gave max 10-15 inch + car own clearance.

Or i have to dig a hole under car 😅

Have used a high lift trolley jack and then concrete blocks under wheels to change Gbox in the past on an old Volvo 940. I put up as high as it would go and then blocks under front wheels then put trolley on blocks laid flat and got higher still then more blocks under wheels enough to get Gbox out.

Founded video on youtube. Removal can be done just with jacks. Pipe will turn out nicely.

Today my friend looked dpf values on obd. Ash , carbon volumes and pressure was good. Those wont give reason for dpf cleaning.

Still there is longer burn and smoke. Burning interval has been same all the time, approx 200miles.
