Automatic gearbox lever issue

All of a sudden the button that's used to unlock the lever is harder to press, like something is preventing this. It feels like the spring got much harder and can't reach pressed position.

The lever still works, I can unlock it. But what can I do to prevent I don't end up blocked somewhere?

The second photo is with the offside wheel turned clockwise about 30 degrees. It's the area aound the inner clamp we're looking at. I appreciate it's hard to pick out the detail from the photo. The Fabia is 12 years old and 78k miles.

Went to get in the car this afternoon after it had been parked in the sun all day and I swear it never had this gap above the airbag before?! Has something moved? Could someone take a pic of their airbag to compare? It’s the standard round wheel and not the facelift one. I’m away with work at the minute otherwise I would remove it and have a better look. Pushing it does nothing other than sound the horn! Has something fallen off or moved or have I just never noticed it before!

Hello everyone I'm new here. I acquired this very clean example from a dealer up north (newcastle, sadly 120+ miles from where I live) 2016 2.0 TDI Technology estate 70k miles, cambelt & pump and service done just before I picked it up Now for the problems. I tool it on it's first long run and after about 100 miles it started to go into limp mode. No power, turbo won't kick in, won't go above 2500 rpm. Do the headlights need deflectors in France?

I have a 26 reg Fabia design edition. I’m going to be driving in France and would rather not put deflectors stickers on if I don’t have to! If the beam is flat I don’t think I need the deflector stickers. I don’t have a travel abroad function in the infotainment system. If anyone has a definitive answer that would be appreciated.
