Manufacturer Auth'd Tune Ups..

Featured Replies

Just read in this weeks Auto Express that a company called Wolf Concept are going to be offering Mods for the Focus ST that will include new turbo, 19" wheels, suspension etc. The result is a jump from 217BHP to 296BHP:eek:

The article finished stating that the mods would be available through selected dealers...

When will other Manufacturers recognise this and support its customers rather than forcing them into their own options and causing warranty issues.

We all know about Pro-Drive etc... But Ford!!

Come on VW group....

Wolf Concept are owned by Raid rdi who also own Atiwe, a manufacturer of interior styling products like steering wheels, gearknobs, etc.

Atiwe already supply a large number of manufacturers as OE or available-through-dealer aftermarket options so people have had them available, just not many people know where it comes from.

Atiwe manufacture a lot of Vauxhall's Irmscher range for example.

we had a Wolf kitted up Fiesta at the Ford dealership i work for , stickers looked bit tacky IMO

Eeeerrr..........Oettinger????????

ABT is a authorized tuning company for VAG, at least they are in Germany.

It is just the UK unfortunately. As said above, Oetinger and ABT are both used abroad, but we get nowt for our efforts :(

But techincally were all in Europe now chaps ;)

Thats my call on it...

Take white goods, uk std manf warranty 12 months. Europe laws says 36 months. I know which one I'd contest. My reasoning, UK "rights" case fails in UK, it's always taken to the European courts. Now I'm not a lawyer so I don't know if it would be a valid statement; especially as I'd made it a question ;).. but dosen't euro law overrides uk law in some areas, and is this area one of them?

QED if my assumptive question is correct, one could go to Ger and get an ottinger or ABT mod and it be approved under european manf...

Any legal eagles who dare to comment unoffically of course ;)
