Yes I know yet another post about the infotainment, I spoke to my local Skoda dealer and they were useless and said they could get me in for a check in September?

Anyway, I recently bought a 2015 Skoda Octavia VRS. I believe it came with the MIB2 infotainment as the glovebox unit only has SD card slots no cd. What is the easiest way of activating smartlink as I would like carplay. Do dealers even offer the activation given how old the car is? Thanks.

Hi Folks, I don't know what had happened. I got the screen washer problem last and the pump just delivered. Today i got 5 errors when i started up the car 1) The parkpiot is currently on available, 2) Error "tyre pressure loss indicator, 3) front assist unavailable 4) Error: ABX/stabilisation control (ESC) 5) Start/stop not working (seems likes this, appear in a second... 6) both front and rear washer not working (last post : Windscreen washers not working in both front and end - Skoda Fabi

Hi I have a 522gw Nextbase dam and rear cam too. It was professionally fitted and the installer has attached it to what looks like a bent bit of card wedged under the headlining. He said he couldn't attach the camera and mount to the rear windscreen because of the amount of movement when the hatch is opened. Any thoughts or suggestions gratefully received.

Have a 21 plate Superb L&K. Not really sure what setting has been changed or what has happened, but for some reason mirrorlink always tries to activate if I plug the phone in. This never used to happen, the car would connect wirelessly to the phone and use android auto, and then if plugged in it would continue to use android auto. But for the last several months, I can connect wirelessly and it will use android auto, but if I plug in then it tries to use mirrorlink, which then does not c

I bought the vehicle recently and it has a factory fitted tow bar with a removable tow hook. I need a tow hook as it was not sold with the vehicle but Skoda parts will not supply the hook although they are more than happy to supply a complete tow bar and associated electrics. I have spoken to my local tow bar suppliers without success as it does not seem to be a recognisable unit Witter, Oris etc.... The reference plate for the tow bar is below. Does anyone know who the manufacturer might be so
