Anyone know the C02 of the VRS diesel?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've got to order a new company car soon and whilst I can get quotes for the new vRS diesel nobody can tell me the C02 emmissions, (which are quite important for company car drivers!). Does anyone know officially what they will be?

thanks

Richard

Not seen a figure for the Octy, but its 167g/km for the Seat Altea FR 2.0TDI DPF, which I believe uses the same engine.

Details clicky here.

For the petrol models, the 2.0T FSI in the Octy II vRS is 190 g/km, compared with 197 g/km for the Altea FR.

Not sure if this means the Octy diesel will be slightly less as well, but hopefully this gives you a bit of a guide.

It's not that easy - the 170bhp in the Audi A4 has lower emmissions that the the 140bhp! Figure that one out!?? Has anyone seen an official figure??

Just had this from Skoda

Hatch

2.0 TDI PD 170bhp vRS CO2’s g/km - 157

Urban mpg(l/100km) - 36.2 (7.8)

Ex Urban - 61.4 (4.6)

Combined - 48.7 (5.8)

Estate

2.0 TDI PD 170bhp vRS CO2’s g/km - 157

Urban mpg(l/100km) - 36.2 (7.8)

Ex Urban - 61.4 (4.6)

Combined - 48.7 (5.8)

The 2.0 TDI PD engine develops 170bhp and 350Nm of torque giving 0-62mph figures of just 8.6 seconds for the Estate and 8.5 seconds for the Hatchback.
