Another Scottish Superb

Featured Replies

I've just picked up my 2002 2.8V6 from St Andrews in Glasgow. Glad to see they seem to be living up to the reviews they've had on here....

Excellent family car - the kids love the space in the back, and a surprisingly large boot.

Fuel economy doesn't even seem to be too bad (although having finally gotten used to an old Jag XJ that sucks fuel like it's going out of fashion helps with that....) - I got 23.5MPG on my 6 mile (gentle) drive through town to work (according to the trip computer)

Anyway. Hi!

Hi and welcome to Briskoda from a 1.9 tdi Superb owner:orb_wave:

Thanks. Mine's silver. I would have liked a black one, but I had to get what I could afford (and what was available, as my old Mazda 626 was rather unhealthy and needed to be traded in before I had to pay the repair bills for all the brakes, reversing lights, a/c, and a handful of other things).

The superb is great though - especially now I've pumped the tyres up to where they should be (although 2.4/2.6 bar seemed pretty high to me....)
