EDIT: PLEASE DELETE, WRONG FORUM

So, I have this 01276 for a while, was told need a replacement ABS pump, its a 2010 Octavia did not spend more than 2000 euro to buy it last year. 300k+ miles on it now. I don't want to spend 500-800 euros on a pump fix. Last night I took it for a spin. I found a spot nearby with loose gravel (secluded area, no traffic). I did a couple of hard braking there to force my pump to work. To my surprise the error went away! Did a couple of km's on the dual carriageway, all good. But the error came up today morning when I turned on my car. I checked the fuses and relays earlier, all looks fine. Is it the pump acting up? Electronics seems fine? Should I try the hard braking again? I want to get the NCT done (this week, due in November) and drive it for a while before upgrading (cannot afford to spend more, just spent 800 on it on a rocker cover leak and other suspension related stuffs on all wheels).

Cheers!
