A couple of years back i had my car in the shop, and upon the return my engine cover was gone. I am struggling to find a replacement, and was hoping some here could help me. It's a Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo, 1.2htp. I'll attach a photo. Hopefully someone here can help me get what I need.

Looks like an engine cover's the least of your worries

I assume you've tried eBay, Amazon and Skoda?

My 3 year old just out of warranty Fabia had to be towed this morning due to petrol pouring out of the holes in the undertray! Lucky I stopped before the car got hot or it could've been nasty. Garage said the injector seal had gone because the injector bolt had snapped and so it was moving around. Anyone else had anything like this? Not what I expect from a fairly young car.

Hi all, In the process of an engine rebuild and looking for some advice on timing belt kits for my 2004 1.9 TDi 110 ASV. I've used a Gates kit before which seemed fine but wondered if anyone has used Febi or Continental? Also read a bit about plastic v metal impellors, people saying the plastic ones can come loose on the shaft. The kits I've mentioned all come with a plastic impellor, replicating OEM. The Gates one I removed was fine after 5+ years. Cheers for any advice. Vijay

Has anybody one here actually bought and installed one of the Chinese “remanufactured” rear differentials that are all over Ebay and, if you have, what’s your experience of it? The prices seem too good to be true, considering it includes the full Haldex unit and I’m wondering what sort of quality they actually are. I know some OEM versions were actually built in a Chinese plant but it’s hard to believe this may be the source of them. All of the ads claim they have sold some but I’ve yet to find
