Hi, does anyone on here know where i can get hold of an engine cover and under tray for a mk2 fabia 1.6 tdi cr se 90, Simpson skoda had the car for 4 weeks and when i got it back they weren't there but i only noticed a couple of days after. I've tried the usual scrap yards and online parts specialists but nothing only an audi one. i have emailed skoda uk about this and they say they have contacted Simpson skoda and they say they haven't got it???? thanks in advance.

Simpson Skoda know where to get one if their workshop employee failed to replace it or replace correctly.

Have you the Dealer Principal's decision that they are accepting no responsibility for it being missing after they had it?

What was the car in at Simpson Skoda to have done for 4 weeks.

I would be jumping up and down on Simpson's workshop manager then the site manager to resolve this, not even thinking about searching for and paying for these lost covers.

Do they definitely have them as I know my VRS doesn't have one? 

 

I know yours isn't a VRS but I'm sure not all models have them.....

They do

 

It was in for a new engine until they told me the price, it blew a con rod through the back of the engine. I was unable to pick it up straight away so it had to stay there until I could get it. It was the mechanic that did the job that told me they were missing and they were Definately on there to start with.

 

Ha my bad. I read it as under tray not engine cover. It was a late long day yesterday!!
