Anyone else had any success with self built music streamers? I've had some success with Lyrion Music Server and a mixture of endpoints (Rpi's with DACs (PiCorePlayer) a Dell Wyse 3030lt(Headless Debian 13 running upmpdcli and MPD so - LMS → UPnPBridge → upmpdcli → MPD → HDMI) and Denon S770 (via UpnPBridge). The LMS runs on my Unraid server and delivers a mixture of MP3, flac, dsf.

The 3030lt is physically attached to the Denon so it can push multichannel music up the Hdmi (Denon is limited to 2 channels for any other input). This works remarkably well and is able is play 6 ch 192kHz audio.

It's not perfect but I think I've managed to get rid of most of the problems and it's been a interesting project and it all is controllable from an App or webpage.

Hi all so I’ve had my mk 2 vrs for around 4 weeks now and I have got a whirring sound from underneath somewhere whilst driving I have it going into a vag specialist on Wednesday for diagnosis which will cost me £100 up front before any repair work. The sound comes at all speeds as soon as the car is moving and it is there in gear and when the car free wheels out of gear. The sound doesn’t go away or change at all it just sound louder obviously if I take my foot off the gas. Weaving side to sid

Hello I have some troubles with my engine and need desperate help. Here is he the story about Skoda Octavia 2.0 tdi ea288 DSG 2015 I ve bouhgt import car with full service history (Skoda Italy) which is rare in Serbia to find. Seller told me DPF was gutted in Italy and I was aware of this. 5000 km later problems started with light black smoke on hevy load and after few days a LOT of smoke on extra load (4 people, A/C on and acceleration from 100 to 130 kmh) check engine was activated with 2 code

I currently have an early MK3 scout manual and it's been great but I'm looking at newer cars Alot of newer cars and all post 2019 4x4 cars seem to be dsg Read a lot online about reliability issues with mechatronics etc ,some say certain box types are better than others but in reality what sort of percentage fail ? Looking at keeping car long term

Hi everyone. My son bought a 2023 Skoda Scala 1.0 TST Monte Carlo back in April. It's a beautifiul car. Early in the summer (on one of the days it was 35C) he said that it wouldn't go into gear after having it parked all day, although after a bit of trying it was fine. This didn't happen again until last month when the same issue occured. Over the last few weeks he says it's been happening more often, although it is still only intermittent. Hi, should one get the car serviced according to age, i.e every 12 months or according to mileage, i.e every 15,000 km's or should one follow the periods and mileage as per the info read out on board the vehicle? I am very confused by this!
