Thieving little ****s!

Featured Replies

oh well, left with just ONE "anti-theft" dustcap on one of my wheels now and 3 bare valves..... :grumpy:

Guess that one just was the only one on tight enough to not be able to be undone by some little scr0tes puny hands.....

oh well, as long as it doesn't progress to items inside my car, touch wood....

Now where do I get some plain black plastic dustcaps from then? ..... :thumbdwn:

How long did they last, last time I tried some it was less than 24 hours.

Admittedly, they have lasted around 2 months, or since I got these 17s. So its been a while and I was hoping they'd stay on. I've no idea if it was from outside the house or from outside work as I have to park in fairly quiet side streets in Exmouth. More likely to be the former.

Might nip down to my local friendly tyre place and see if they have any. :)

Can't you just get them of the local 'yooth' :P

I've had these caps on for ages, the kids are generally ok where I park up, although it gets a little dodgy when they're bored and have parents that don't mind their kids jumping up/down cars etc. Fine if it's their car, if it's mine it will be photographed & police will be involved (again...)

It's just a pain in the backside that some people just don't understand the concept of 'it's not yours' :(

Why dont you buy ones that fit flush to the alloy, or just electrify the wheels:P :P

Just get some DS3000 brakepads.. go out and ragg the life outta them.. then hey presto, fingerprints on alloys next time they try it :D

(and blisters from the caustic brakepad dust) ;)

 - now there is an interesting idea :D

As it happens my alloys have been pretty dusty for some time now, but no prints left.
