• I have a MK 4 Skoda Superb L&K 200 TDI DSG with 58,000 miles after 18 months. Is it worth me considering getting a warranty on this as I intend to keep it and run it for as long as I can after the lease is finished in march 2027. Has anyone got experience of running this model for high mileage 200,000 plus?

But while you’re here, that’s a lot of miles in 18 months.

With the DSG in that model, the Skoda service interval is 80k miles but the previous 6-speed was 40k. Most people kept to the 40k as oil changing is really important. So if it hasn’t had it done, I’d do that.

Is the Warranty going to cover it over 100,000 miles. Is it getting serviced to The Manufacturers Recommendation, Schedule or Regime? Read T&C,s very closely as to what is Covered with the Warranty. Clutch Plates are with Manufacturer Warranty, are they on the Extended Warranty. Is the DSG covered OK?

I would say yes my 2015 Mk3 had been insured with the Skoda Warranty from day one and I would say I'm about 1500 quid up. I've just renewed at 59k miles and it has cost me £350.

Next year above 60k it just about doubles so this is my last year.
