Anyone with a silver dash trim kit?

Featured Replies

Got photos? I'm [still] working on a car comptuer idea and have found something that'd be perfect, if only it didnt stand out so much because of it being silver. I dont really want to repaint it because it'd be hard to match the colour, instead I thought a silver/alu dash kit might make it stand out less... So, if anyone has a kit on their car, can you post pics? :)

Cheers!

I think FlatFourBurble has one too.

Hi Dangermouse,

I had one of those kits although they looked far too shiny, so ended up spraying them in chrome effect paint, will try and find the photos I had of them. In my opinion though best off going for just the vent surrounds rather than the full kit, made it look tacky.

Look forward to seeing this...... seen the chrome spray and think it would look good!

Looks good but it also makes it look like a 307 inside.

No.... it looks really bad! ;) :P

Have found those pics:) Like I said though with the lot on looked too vulgar however the vent surrounds on their own look much better.

Looks like a slightly different finish to the alu kit I got. I recently took a lot of mine off and only have the alu bits on the vents and as you said, it looks much better like this

Thinking of using the chrome spray though, need to practice on a bit of plastic first to see what the finish looks like :)
