I got a price from an internet broker www.drivethedeal.com I then rang a few dealers and asked them to match it. Freeborne skoda had no problems matching it and winchester Skoda wanted to play aswell, right up to the day I was going to do the deed.

Good luck :)

it not very clear sorry. it from auto sales bilston, vulcan road, bilston. 01902 402222

I've just had a rather good deal from my local dealers - Sparshatts of Fareham.

It's certainly worth phoning around, my second best price came from a dealers in Cannock and I then went back to my local place and told them I was ready to sign up and if they wanted the deal thats what they needed to do.

And you call me harsh!

drivethedeal.com offered the best quote on my furb and it comes from a UK franchised dealer who offer delivery to your door. Would say their quote is by far the best place to start. SWMBO as the octy 2 vRS and yes it is every bit as good as its cracked up to be and then some, but (there is allways a but) ypu must be able to live with the fuel consumption, climate on, round town = C23mpg, no climate steady 68mph ( indicated, cc ) C43 mpg, ioo worth every penny. ;) HTH

And you call me harsh!

I didn't say your being harsh was a bad thing, in fact it may be quite nice :naughty:

All is fair in love car buying :P

As for supermarkets, then yes they do offer some pretty good prices but the PX values are always down. I managed to beat a supermarket price and get over book price for mine which is why I had to jump ship.

As I've posted many times before it's albout finding a dealer in the right part of his financial cycle that needs to sell a car. It is worth widening your search and being prepared to travel.

And yes the fuel bills are gonna kill me but that's the price of fun :headbang:

Simpsons in Colne, Nr Burnley will match a www.drivethedeal.com price - well they did for me with a Fab vRS I ordered yesterday. Best of luck:thumbup:
