lock yourself in?

Featured Replies

May sound a little strange but... sometimes do a long drive overnight and if i get super tired i pull over at the motorway services to take a power nap. Being on my own half of the time i would like to lock myself in while i sleep without activating the alarm, so someone doesnt try stealing the car while im sleeping(if thats obvious enough!!). Can never be too careful these days.

I used to drive a 2001 Astra and on this if u clicked lock on the remote just once it would lock all doors, if u clicked lock again it would activate the alarm. Im just wondering how it works on the Fabia VRS and if its possible to modify it to my requirements! If anyone could explain to me how it works i would be very grateful!

I thought i would ask you guys before hassling the dealer once again! thanks!:D

On my Fabia vRS there's a little button next to the electric window switches on the drivers door.

Press that and all the doors lock :)

if you press the lock button on the keyfob, then press it again within 5 seconds. that will lock the doors and tailgate, set the alarm, but disable the interior sensors.

Just press the button on the driver's door handle. :) If I have to do this, I will also keep the doors locked.

Press the 'lock' button on the drivers door. probably has a padlock symbol on it.
