Hi all, i was just wondering if it would be possible to retro-fit cruise control on my 52 plate superb 1.9 tdi pd130.

I know its possible on other makes of car because the wiring loom is fitted but not connected.

brother in law had omega,fitted cruise control stalk,plugged in to tech 2 and switched it on,worked perfect.now has 75 and can do the same just needs steering wheel with controls fitted.

So can it be done with superb.

any help would be greatfully received,going down to newquay next month so it would be nice to have if poss.

Can be done with a Passat so I see no reason why not on the Superb.

Hi, if it works try the above short cut, might answer a few questions for you, i know its for a passat but id be surprised if it didnt fit a Superb

Yes its very possible, done a fair few myself.

I had cruise fitted to my poverty spec AWX Superb by the dealer as a condition of sale. A new LH stalk with the cruise switch is required and some non "G" ECUs need the cruise function to be enabled via VAGCOM. Parts cost to dealer would be about

Yeah, just need the plug onto the switch and then wire to tap into the plug in the bulkhead chamber.
