Remember my post about my Fabia Sedan Automatic anyone?, well I was driving the other day and the EPC and Little engine light came on. I stopped the car and cut the engine and the EPC light went out but the little yellow engine stayed on. When I came back from shopping it was fine, what happened it sounded fine and performed the same (If perform is the word for the auto!), Could it have just been a cockup by the Computer, thought though it smelt a little of petrol when i started it that morning, any ideas?

Still thinking about getting a 1.8T Comfort Superb, anyone got one?

Plus check out the poll, the Crappiest Fabia engine avaliable!

any ideas?

Yes - get your dealer to run diagnostics on it...at the very least it could indicate a fault with the warning light... :D

Rob.

Voted for the 2.0 as it was rubbist when it was in the mk3 golf gti, let alone a 10 year younger fabia. The 1.4 16v 100bhp has similar power (the 2.0 has 115bhp) and costs less to own and insure.

The 2.0, as far as I can see, is old, heavy and tired. Why would you wan't, let's say a 2.0 superb, when the 1.8 is faster and more economical.

The 1.9 SDI is real slow, but you cannot beat the Pumpe Duse 1.9, obviously it's sooo vRS.

The entry level 1.2 is a little underpowered for me, with the 12v version being good, as it gets the sma epower as the 8v 1.4, but three cylinders, probably means it's kind of crude, I havent driven one though.
