Very Strange????

Featured Replies

Well today my car officially spazzed out on me!!! I dont know why. It was very confusing.

Jumped in my car drove it about 3 miles everything fine. Pulled up outside Blockbusters and went to get out only to be distracted by the light buzzer buzzing telling me that my lights were on. Now with it being 3 in the afternoon thought it was a bit odd as i didnt have my lights on even when i cycled the light switch it was still buzzing.

I checked my lights and only found that the N/S sidelights front and rear were on and the switch was off. It was very strange but after starting the car and then turning it off again it had cured its self

Any body else had a problem like this just seems a bit odd

Also is there a red warning light inbetween the geen and blue headlight indicators on the dashboard because i have seen something flash up there twice now and i cant work out what it is or am i going mad??????????

Any help much appreciated

It sounds like you left the indicators on. When you take the keys out it leaves the side lights only on as parking lights. You don't need to touch the light switch. The warning buzzer will sound to remind you the lights are on.

Got to admit I did this today....

Pulled up at a pub in Bury got out to here a buzzing from inside the car.. Check every switch and couldn't find anything.. was about to give up when I remembered the indicator was left on so the parking lights were on.

Lol, I've certainly done it before i was annoyed that the car was 3 days old, and the bulb gone, and then came back on later..

hi from the island of barbados check your manual carefully the computers in these cars have minds of their own just last week my car didn't want to unlock had to play with the ignition for a bit hope this helps

i had the exact same problem, i was sat in my car for 15 mins trying to find the problem

15 minutes...? Jees...

Ive done this too, I've also had problems when one of the doors hasn't been shut properly. Ive got vagcom set so it beeps once when i lock it. But trying to lock the doors and finding it didn't beep, then unlocking the doors and it beeps then was very confusing. But with all issues, there is usually a very simple reason, indicators still on or doors not shut fully.

Just out of interest, anyone know how long the parking lights have to be on before the battery runs flat, lets say on a newish battery good battery.
