Just drove a Nissan Wingroad

I'm not surprised they don't sell 'em in the UK! Clicky

It was okay I suppose considering it costs $30k (GPB10k) but it seemed very cheaply made.

Nice leather steering wheel, driving position seemed good, stereo sounded pretty decent.

Performance was, er, disappointing (it was an auto). Flappy paddle gearbox thingy was vague, engine noisy. I wondered if it was a diesel at first but apparently it's a 1.8 petrol.

The dash seemed okay but all of the other plastics feel very cheap.

Seat material was horrible, no pockets in the back either.

The power steering was very light and vague (is this common to all Japanese cars?)

I have no desire to get back in the drivers seat of one of these cars again!

I wonder how close it is to the UK Almera?

Looks bigger than the Almera to me

Its a Datsun..... It'll break every 3 days
