When I take the key out of the ignition the car makes a chirpy sort of noise, it's fairly audiable, it's coming from the dash area itself.

Nothing is broke so to speak and everything locks/unlocks fine and the car starts/stops fine, and the key comes out the ignition fine. It's just this noise!!!

Any ideas?

not heard anything on mine , but i have anti hijack set so when you take the key out it unlocks the doors so masks any other noise , maybe its a heater flap moving or the cd player , before you take the key out see i you can hear anything operating that might cause the noise

it happens at the same time as the doors unlocks, i also have anti hijack on.
