I am in need of a little advice with the Octavia,

When on the motorway at about 70, the car constantly drifts left and right:(

Any faster than 70 and I have to contantly correct the steering to go in a fairly straight line, can anyone suggest anything before I let the dealer take a look:confused:

Not a clue....... but i would defo get that one back to the dealers...

There have been a couple of posts about this in the past but no info about a cure. Im now on my second octy 2 and they both had this "feature". It seems it maybe a trait of the car possibly due to the electronic power steering, it may also have something to do with the tracking, there have been complaints about tyre wear on the inside edge of the front tyre after not to many miles (mine has this too). The two problems may not be related but worth looking into.

Let us know how you get on at the dealers, mine has been in about the wandering on motoway problem but nothing was found out of place, they said I had to book it back in so they could take it for a test drive on the motoway but I just dont have the time at the mo.

Mine is straight as a die, even in moderate crosswind - sounds like a fault [or maybe tyre pressures?] Had something like that on a Ford and it was a front shock.
