So in comes the vRS with its combination of the 2. I'm really impressed with the overall package the the vRS brings. I was stunned at the performance. The car pulled in all gears. I was in 6th doing 70mph @ 2000rpm. that was nice. The car has everything that I want and need. Great fuel economy and great handling and top performance..

If I get a deal from Barry in Gillingham. I will soon have a Skoda on my drive!!!

The skoda also gives you the option of using a 60/40 split seat (useful with kids), the reason I didn't buy a Dune and went for the vRS. Shame the 1.9 Dune never reached these shores, we don't have the market for it so VW replied to me when I asked for one from their HQ.

Their loss, Skoda dealers also give better service
