On our 2002 1.9tdi fabia estate, both front electric windows intermittantly stop working. Not fuses so I guess it must be a relay fault. Any ideas which relay controls the electric windows and where I can find it?

Try pulling the fuse for 10 mins, sometimes it can iron out problems.

Thanks for the reply but there is a seperate fuse for each window - they stop working together hence why I believe it's a faulty or bad contact on the window relay wherever that may be! Guess I'll have to wait patiently for the haynes workshop manual in december and hope the problem remains intermittant.....

the electric windows are controlled by the central conveinence system aren't they?? so in which case they wont have a relay.

the only other thing is that the switches might have gone west.
