Had a unit at 100% and it can't connect to send results or get others. :confused: Perfectly fine internet connection in general. Anyone else had this? Copied the log if it helps.

Yes.. ive got the same problem... have had a handful of units on the lappy that havent sent for a while

I wouldn't mind if it would just stack it up and keep going. Right now nothing is happening. :(

I've got one with the same thing happening. All the others are sending and receiving fine.

I've just finished a HUGE work unit (took about 3 weeks to process!), and I can't connect to get the next one. It's uploaded the work unit, but it can't get another one yet.

Is anyone else still suffering this problem?

Kentzer - I think I just had one of those units as well, scored 535 points

Solved it - I'd unwittingly swapped to "deadlineless" units on the config. It looks like there aren't any of those left at the moment!

Yup - 500+ points for the last one.

It's just downloaded a tiny one in comparison - 500 frames this time!

I've had a WU that just won't send the results... it finished on Aug 30, but it's coming up with a very strange message!

hmmmm... so how do I stop it trying to send it? It's been trying to send it every couple of hours for the last 10 days :eek:

Just been and looked on the forum..... and there's a thing on there that says that the server my pc picked the WU up from (171.65.103.151:8080) is offline - and has been offline since about an hour after my PC started working on that WU!

So, if anyone else is having similar problems.... the advice from the forum is 'be patient' as long as you don't have more than 9 of these 'unrecognised' WUs waiting, the rest of folding will carry on normally and the one that won't go WILL go once they manage to get the server back online!

11 days (so far!) is a long time to wait tho.... wonder how much longer it'll be

Well, my issue resolved itself in the end. Just credited a 600 pointer to the team which its been crunching for what feels like about a week.

one of mine is due to finish a 600 pointer later on today..... and I've got another 2 worth 996 points between em that should finish tomorrow

Silly thing is the one that won't go is only a little one (99 points) and I've had quite a few 600 pointers (7 of em!) since that one 'failed'.... ah well, spose I'll get the points eventually - but I'm not really missing em at the mo cos of the other big WUs coming thru
