Not a massive problem but I have noticed that the drivers seat has started rocking backwards and forwards on its runners. Its most noticable when you come to a stop or accelerate and you weight shifts slightly, the seat tilts. I can see that the play is in the runners themselves.

Anyone else come across this?

Going to ring my dealer tomorrow to see If they can have a look. It aint a massive problem but its got annoying and its spoiling an otherwise perfect drive.

Ha Ha, they aint fitted atm, crimbo cleared me out so funds are low and can't afford them just yet, but I got them reserved

Might be the brute force of acceleration though.

I assume yours is ok then?

Had this happen to my old fabia when it was about 18months old. They replaced the seat mount.

If this is your problem when its repaired check the plastic base under your knees. They cut mine to get access but didn't repair it, cosequently it occasionaly flapped open.

Yeah, mines ok apart from the occasional creak from the seat.. probably due to overindulgance at xmas :cake:

so far my list of "minor irratants" are:

both front doors rattle. think its coming from the puddle light.

suspension creak

and the rear brakes are quite noisey at low speed. but im not arsed about that one

but they are all easily fixed at the pending 10k service.. (6.5k now)

Ross, happened to my other half 16v, they just changed the runner for a new one, it's been ok since then!

As for mine the only thing I'm slightly annoyed with is the creaking rear suspension, it has got better (i.e only happens over large bumps now, and only when there is no load in the boot/back)

But hell, I can live with that.....

i had that its coming from door trim panel itself you might find when it rattles just slightly push the join throught the middle ( where fabric joins plastic) if so ask your dealer to order you some panel and request the fit some foam behind panel to stop further rattling on new panels.
