Renault owner wanting to defect.

Featured Replies

I have been browsing the forum for a few months so I thought it was about time I joined up. I liked Skoda's before I even had a driving licence. When I get my promotion at work I want to get a Fabia TDi preferably a VRS. (Hopefully I should get my promotion by Christmas.) But I don't know If I should wait until the new shape Fabia comes out.

I hope you don't mind a Renault owner joining though.

Not at all, welcome to the forum but get rid of that French thing and move over to owning a  Skoda ;)

BTW, the new Fabia may be out late next year but don't expect the vRS model to be with us until 2008!.

Welcome.

I would think the prospect of owning a Skoda would be quite tempting after owning a Renault. Your choice may well turn out to be budget driven as you'll for sure get a good deal on the outgoing model.

i currently own a clio, but am getting a fabia. Renaults are pants!! they have a massive tendency to break down....especially as soon as your warrenty dies.

For my wifes run around we got rid of her very problamatic (sp?) 03 megane for her black magic octy vRS. Best move yet. Ditch the frenchie and go for winged arrow.

Another call to ditch the Renault here. I had a shed of a Renault for a few weeks to tide me over before I bought the Octy, and the only things I've encountered worse than it would be V**xh*lls!

Hi, and welcome

Thanks for the welcome. Went and test drove a VRS and was very impressed. Was very different from my Clio to drive.

I want one.
