Octavia Tdi 110 juddering

Hello, new person here.

Octavia tdi engine judders when cold or warming up at round or just under the 2000 rev mark. Can accelerate through the judder or back throttle off.

Also, kind of metallic 'recoil' noise on sharp rev drop (clutch in, foot on the anchors). Garage tells me this is the flywheel but not really a problem just noisey.

Is this anything to do with 'dual mass flywheel/juddering' problems you see dotted around the net.

Any replies/comments much appreciated.
