Common problem with a vRS? It's only done a few hundred miles and every time you get in it or go over a slow bump (e.g. speedbump) the rear creak and groans?

Just want to know the score before it goes back and I start ranting :P

Hi there,

VRS delivered yesterday. Gone from Fabia SDI (had 3 years) to VRS. Both cars creak. Comes from front end. The last Fabia had this cured, sort of under warranty. Still creaked but not as noticeable. The new VRS creaks not just over speed ramps but out on the road as well.

So yep very common fault.

Dealer denied all knowledge (SDI) said they couldn`t hear it and i must have been going too fast over speed ramps. Yeagh right.

Common fault that should have been rectified by a recall.

Will leave the VRS for a week or so to see if it beds in before taking back. The squeak \ groan seems worse in damp weather.
