Jabba ARB & Eibach springs

They are being fitted very shortly and as expected, i'm a little excited to the eventual outcome of the handling and will it really be so much different ?

It will be very different indeed.

No more understeer courstesy of the Jabba ARB, which is controllable using the throttle mid-corner.

Aggressive into a corner (or roundabout) with a sharp lift off will introduce some oversteer, especially in the wet. When the back goes it does so predictably and completely controllable.

The eibachs will stiffen things up, reduce body roll and dramatically improve the looks of the car (no more rollerskate effect). Ride quality I feel isn't really effected.

I'm sure more people will be able to add more comments than me on the awesome-ness of the Jabba ARB, which gets a definate from me.

Lift off oversteer, catching the drift in mid corner, in the wet !! Around roundabouts, I'm geting too old methinks.

You'll notice the difference even if you drive normally Will corner a lot more flatly and feel much more balanced....

What shock absorbers do you guys tend to use with these lowering springs?

I'm using the standard shocks , but others are using the Eibach proshocks with the springs

What sort of price are we looking at for ARB and springs and fitting?

ARB = £210 I believe

springs = £130 odd

dampers = £300 odd (I can't remember what I paid so long ago )

Labour for ALL the above, around 4 hours I think (front struts are a pain)

Fronts are only a pain if you don't have the "opening" tool. If you do, they're a piece of cake :rofl:

its not so much the opening tool (i used a short chisel) but the spring compressors because you need to compress the spring/shocker assembly to remove it from the hub , then use them again to dismantle the assembly
