I currently use a few Meguiars products i.e. Cleaner wax, NXT wax, endurance gel for tyres amd NXT metal polysh.

My mum is going to the states in 2 weeks and after looking on the net, the prices of Meguiars is so cheap.

What do you recomend I should get from the States i.e. water magnet towel etc.

Any recommendations ?

The water magnet is good, I'd get a couple if I were you (they seem to degrade with washing in my experince).

The wash mitt is also good, can't think of anything else of the top of my head apart from stock up on what you've already got!

I disagree on the water magnet, mine is :pants: (in my opinion, we're all different, maybee I'm using it wrong:confused: )

You can't beat a good quality chamois

Mines been used about 15 times and seems to remove less water than I remember it doing so at the start. Like I said I'm not sure if it's the washing after using it that's ruined it. Generally it's a highly regarded product but it's not as effective as a good chamois.

I've just got some Gold Class wash, and its awesome, so I'd get your mum to get you some of that. I've just got a Poorboys waffle weave towel, which is equivalent to the water magnet, but is apparently less likely to swirl the paint. Dried the entire car without wringing it out once! Its probably easiest to see if Meguiars do like a big pack with everything in, and get that.
