Just after a bit of advice/feedback from anyone who knows or has had a similar problem, Have got an 02 elegance estate, just rolled over the 185k mile mark and still goes really well, for no apparent reason, the central locking triggers and all the doors lock at totally random intervals, might go for couple of days, might last 5 minutes, when you try and unlock the doors, either with the key, remote or the unlock button on the drivers door, they unlock for about a second, and then lock immediately, which is becoming rather annoying, was thinking it might be the control relay playing up, possibly got wet, I've got no idea where abouts in the car it is, so if anyone can help, I'd be grateful.

I had this problem with my '01 Elegance Estate while it was still under warranty. When I took it in they said it was a problem with the boot lock ('actuator' I think was the specific term but don't quote me on that). I'm fairly certain that the diagnostics registered a fault to tell them this. They then replaced either the boot lock and the actuator, or just the actuator and that solved the problem. Sorry to be a bit vague but this was about 3 years ago.
