Superb little car

Featured Replies

Well I'm back from my hols and the car has done over 2k in a little over a week with no real problems and yesterday it did over 700miles at an average of 60+ and 52mpg! What a car and it now done almost 100k miles!!!! The only faults were:-

1) flat battery due to auxillaries left on overnight

2) Cruise not staying on - brake switch sticking, cleaned at service area and sorted.

3) Sat nav took us via Paris

On the French autoroute this car did 80+ for around 4hours without a break and didnt seem in the slightest bit bothered!

sounds like you had good fun then:thumbup:

Driving in France was a pleasure, but the speed limiter in the passenger seat kept things in check

Mine gives me earache too!!!

I do find alcohol is a good way to over-ride the limiter. :D

I found my car an absolute pleasure to drive at 80+ for many hours over in Europe. Was made more pleasureable by the fact it soaked up 200 miles of Ring laps in the middle of it.

I can't wait for the Czech trip in the middle of Sept. Thats going to be 1000 miles in about 18 hours.
