I'm afraid the Grove in Exmouth is more condusive to mass eating and seaviews. :P :P

But it won't be as quirky as the highwayman - somehow I doubt anywhere in the country is.

:bump: I'll be booking for 9, assuming the above stays true.

Hoping for some good weather, and also should be planning out the route, and making sure everyone gets a copy of the route. It won't be too hard and should involve lots of stops to get photos of the moor, and stuff.

The drive is sorted. We'll be taking in what the best of what the east of the moor has to offer, then heading to see the rough north side. Finishing up by the seaside in luxurious!!!? Exmouth.

You'll be missing a good drive, Dartmoor, Dartmoor Jail, Driving around East of the moor, up to Okehampton by the army camp, and more Dartmoor then seafront food and drinks/pictures in Exmouth.

Nice one. So at the moment, its 5 cars for the drive, and 6 in Exmouth for photos and the meal. Booking table tomorrow afternoon for 8 people as it stands.

Well, not to worry. Weather is looking a little dodgy, so it might show Dartmoor in it's true light (well, murk.... ) Should be a good little drive tomorrow - roughly 150 miles I reckon from Exeter Services to Exmouth.

Weather is looking a little better tomorrow now. Should be dry enough to make stops and photo taking a little less anti-social.
