The dealers gave me the clearance from the bumper measurement for this model and the Brink item. The Westfalia gave 5mm extra, so that's why I bought it.

Is that on a vRS?? If so you do know the fabia vrs isn't type approved for towing don't you??

I ain't towing, just a clip on bike carrier.

Those strap on carriers are a no-no with the roof spoiler on the vRS, and would you trust the flimsy straps when you have carried over 2 grand's worth of mountainbikes on the rear ?

Who the hell would be there to stop you, even if you did use a trailer, no police on the roads as they have been replaced by SCAMERA Partnerships :-)

that's a very neat and tidy job done there!

the best thing about having a tow bar is that if sombody hits you from behind you get away scot free leaving them witha smashed radiator.

I wouldn't mind one of them for the estate. How much did it set you back?

I have one on my car, but it looks a bit better than this one.. the one i have looks more solid than this one.. and yes one advantage about them is when someone hits u from the back
