Hi we are about to change the Ignition Switch barrel on my wifes Felicia 1600 S Reg will I have to recode the Immobiliser and if so how do I do it?:confused:

Yes you will. It needs doing with diagnostic equipment and you will need the 4 digit log in code - so really a dealer job.

However you could try and swap the transponder from the old key to the new key, but they tend to be stuck in and there is a possibility of damaging it.

Depends if you have a new key or if you got a new barrel made to your exsisting key.
