If you take it to an approved retailer be careful what adhesive they use because the'approved' one is crud, and the spoiler will come off within a few weeks. Most retailers know this and use a 3M adhesive but not all are aware...

Is the standard RS spoiler glued or bolted? I quite like the smaller lip spoiler that is on the 4x4 hatch (see Dutch's car).

my orig and my wrc are both bolted and glued.. has not fallen off but paint has cracked from 160mph running it does bend a little at that speed but the car is rock solid.

Was this glue the same stuff as on mine? More like black mastic typte stuff. Came off pretty easy - scrap excess off with thumb nail then apply bit of solvent then polish stubbon residues off with so T-cut and polish over.

WRC spoiler from Butts bolts on but also needs glue. One of the existing bootlid holes is suitable, but needs an extra drilling closer to the glass.

Oh and paint finish does crack where wing joins side uprights (only been to 135mph, no Paul's 160mph)
