Featured Replies

Hi all,

just wondering if anyone on here had driven or even owned one of these? on paper they seem fairly quick, 6.5 to 60. any reviews?

no, not driven one but i have driven a mk4 golf r32 with the same engine.. they are as fast as ****. but then i've always prefered driving n/a cars rather than turbocharged ones.

they are as fast as ****.

6.5 seconds to 60mph ain't fast as **** :P:rofl: The old (Mk2?) Astra GTE used to do 60mph around the 7 seconds mark.... :D:rofl:

yeah and my lupo can do it in 5.6 but who's complaining?? would you feel safer driving an r32 or a vauxhall ashtray??

I love'em not super fast, but respectable and make quite a nice noise too :)

more likely to get stolen from outside your house by ch4vs tho

steering wheels used to snap off at the splines when the ch@vs tried to snap the lock off , drove a Belmont(ashtray with a boot) once with mole grips attached to column to steer it

back on topic, no more reviews then?

Chap at work has one in Yellow with the 19s from the RS6. Looks the mutts nuts and he loves it. I drove the Mk4 R32 which was nice, but the ride was very crashy and the exhaust was very boomy at 3000 rpm. Don't know if the Audi is the same.
