Whats This for?

I just had the sun shining directly on my dashpod, so it shows you all the features you don't have :)

I noticed that on the left of the speedo dial there is a fuel pump with H20 written on it. Is the Octy avaliable with alternative fuels in other countries or something?

water tank?

It's to allow for future technologies such as fuel cells and the like, there is also a DPF light on there amongst others, it saves them re designing the dash pod every time they introduce something new.

And like you say, other countries will offer stuff thats not available in the UK.

What the H20 light is for specifically I have no idea.

It's for the water injection on the new vRS turbo intercooler!

Washer fluid warning?

Low coolant?

Need more Evian for the trip?

Low coolant is the old genereric low water icon, the one with the thermometer in the water.

Washer fluid is the water fountain over the windscreen jobbie.

So it must be that you are running low on Evian, so stop at the next services

Other brands of water are available.

Do Skoda endorse a specific brand?

It must be for some obscure northerm european option.

Some sort of auxiliary coolant pump for super cold climates where you plug a heater in when the car is not running.

Serious straw clutching here.

Volvic voids your warranty :(

;)

As you say, water heater for the block?

RTFM may help

I don't think it's in the manual.

What does the "F" stand for?

Is there one for sugar in the petrol tank? :)

Is there one for sugar in the petrol tank? :)

yes, it's next to the one for the rocket booster packs on the roofracks

  • 2 weeks later...

Could be for water in the fuel/fuel filter, a couple of diesels I have had in the past have warnings for this so assuming that's what it is then most likely it is only used on the TDs if it is hooked up at all?

EDIT: Oh god I'm dumb answering questions which have already been answered again...... :(

If it's water in the fuel filter then who is going to volunteer their car as a test for it :P
