What's it worth?????

Featured Replies

I am sorely tempted by the new diesel Octy VRS. So much so that I am seriously considering selling the Fabia and going for the Octy.

Problem is, what is a realistic price for my VRS? If I price it too high, it won't sell and if I price it too low, I will have a lot to make up for the new car.

It's a Mar 05 VRS with the following spec:

Black magic paint

Zenons

Side airbags

Cruise

Airbag off switch

Motorola HF 850 Bluetooth phone kit

Custom Code Re-Map (one off - long story!)

Green cotton filter

Cupra 160 Intake (total about 185 BHP)

320mm Cross drilled Zimmermann discs

Audi TT calipers and Pads (Green)

Yokohama C Drive assymetrics

20,000 miles and in great nick. So as you can see it's not as easy as just look it up in Glass's guide, as it's not exactly standard which may be a good or a bad thing?!?!

You folks out there got any idea where abouts I should pitch it, pricewise??

Thanks for your help, in advance!

I'll give you £50?!?!?!?!?

Sorry, couldn't resist!!

Must be looking at around £10k, IMHO!!

It all depends how quick you want to sell, if you're not in a rush price it high and see what happens!!

Knock the cost of the mods off glass's price and you'll be close.

You'll get more in p/x if it was standard!

Sell the mods fella... then I think around

If you going to sell the car I think you're looking at £9,500ish (at the most). You might get a slightly better deal if you part-ex. However you'll need to return the car to standard as the mods will just reduce the value (the performance mods give the impression that the car has had a hard couple of years).

Thanks folks! I was thinking about

Had a re-think and I am now looking at raiding the piggy bank for a Lichfield Impreza MY07 Type 25! (It's a nice dream anyway  )

If you can afford it, I can guarantee you won't be disappointed
