My 1.2 Fabia is due for it's first MOT Next month and it looks like I need to replace the two front tyres. How much would it cost for the dealer to replace them or would it be cheaper to buy the tyres online. Any good sites for tyres reviews.

Find a good local tyre company......Dealers put there "Bit" on...buying on line means you will need to pay to have them fitted...£10 per corner, the choice is yours.......Andy

Do not get the dealers to fit them! Have a look at mytyres.co.uk and blackcircles.com, find the tyres you like and then ring a local tyre fitter and they'll likely as match the web price and do them for you on the day :D With smaller tyres, I don't think it's worth buying online personally as there will be negligible saving :D

How about Kwik Fit.

It's up to you - I always go with a recommended local independent as they take more care and seem to do a better job, imho :D

The dealer as just giving me a price, for a Mabor tyre is

Mabor Tyre.....Never heard of them....I'm a bit weary of tyres. It's the only thing that keeps you on the road. I always fit a decent make and listen/ take advice from others. Do a search on here and look at the results...................Andy

I got 2 sport-spec Dunlops fitted to my 14" Elegance alloys for a total

Noticed in the back of AutoExpress that they are doing a tyre review next week:thumbup:

Continentals.....Poor on the wear front!!

I'm getting some tyres from Wharfedale tyres, Station Road in Guiseley. Very good service (I've used them before)
