Hi

First post for me. My daughter's 1.3 felicia hatch (W reg - 40,000 miles) seems to have a fuel problem, it doesn't start. When you turn the engine over it occasionally fires and then - nothing. I've taken the pipes off the fuel pump next to the battery and no fuel is coming out. Any advice would be much appreciated.

hello and welcome!

first off, the fuel pump is in the tank. the 'thing' near the battery is the charcoal canister for the evapourative emission control system...

have you tried starting it with somthing like 'easy start' or brake cleaner sprayed down the intake?? just to check that all the ignition system is working as it should.
