Koni or Billstein

Featured Replies

Hi chaps, I have Eibach pro-kit springs for my Fabia, and now I am looking for good dampers :D

So which is best - Koni or Billstein

Hi Mate

I would go Koni FSD`s

They are prooving at the moment to be the best.

Do a search on FSD`s

We deal with Koni and are the cheepest around but have a search on this forum and others.

The uk mkiv`s swear by them

Sarah

Agree with Sarah, Koni FSD's are fantastic with Eibach springs. They're excellent value for money and when driving along they soak up a lot of bumps making the ride very comfortable. But when you turn corners or brake hard, they stiffen up slightly.

How much is it for a set of Konis? They don't seem to be widely available yet.

Koni's would be my choice of the two as well. I think Ross matched them up to the eibach lowering springs on his old fabia.

I'm in the great position of having Koni's on the front and Billsteins on the rear (temporarily). The Koni's are better.

I had Konis on my Astra GTE and they were excellent. Bilsteins are good and can take a lot of use/abuse but tend to be better suited to heavier cars.
