Hi and Welcome to Briskoda

Hi, and welcome

Hullo. Assume thats the 1.4 TDI? Don't see many of those being remapped nowadays. The Jabba plot is very informative. Good to see they've taken a very flat power curve and made it into a nice smooth peaked curve.

117bhp and almost 200 lb/ft in that shell must be very good fun indeed. :D

Very impressive!

I like both sets of wheels tbh.

I'd like a Lupo, but they're just a bit small, the vRS fits the bill nicely.

Hello from the resident Grump (surprisingly not Grumpy today, yet:D )

Yeah its the 1.4 tdi PD engine (AMF) same as used in the early A2 TDI's and in the 9n Polo 1.4 TDI (75bhp standard)

The power is great, its roughly 184lb/ft torque... However my ride hight means i have to replace the lower boost hose (post charger/pre intercooler) every 6000 miles, as the driveshaft seems to keep eating it away... I did a load of work to protect it, but yesterday it went again in a different place, so he's running on "Granny Driving" mode at the moment, trying to preserve my temporarily repaired pipe for a while until the new one comes through, so i can fit my Carbon pipe guard that a friend made, and possibly cover the rest of it in jubilee clips for a bit more logevity ...
