Because of a certain Mr D Richards, who has his WRC circus in South Wales on the same weekend the Grizedale stages would have normally been run on.

Pah! Rally GB (or should that be Rally South Wales) is pants to physically go n watch nowadays. Rip off in my opinion

Correct, which is why tens of thousands that used to venture out to watch it, don't anymore.

Are Mr Richards and his mates bothered? Not 1 jot. TV rights pay the bills now and that's what it all boils down to. MONEY, with a liberal dose of H&S precautions thrown in for good measure.

Couldn't agree more akron. The Lombard RAC rally used be awesome and actually challenging for the drivers....Tescos car park in south wales nowadays tho lol

I used to follow the WRC as a whole with such enthusiasm, but not any more sadly. All the excitement of it has been removed. Totally numbed down.

Only just discovered that the Cyprus rally is on this weekend.
