Which is why it's not an automatic system, although I do have that to hand, but do not feel it's needed.

I enjoy flat eric too but I'm afraid as with many things others have (some who've read this thread) messed it up for others, and not the quoted examples.

It's far more effective for us to be black and white now. I agree when the site was small it was easier to maintain, people knew what was what who was who, I'm afraid some of those day's are behind us.

There is also a very thin legal reason behind it for reasons I won't go into now, but suffice to say it's far easier to track a real person than a figment of someones imagination, no matter how funny they think they are.

Not to mention when the email account expires some poor sap has to sit there and delete the account at some point.

Until Aclice is totally proficient I also like to think the person typing the post has some claim to a life. If I want fictious characters engaging in wierd behaviour I'll read a scifi. Also while the images have stayed they do offend some as the thread title carries no warning, not all are so open minded; one would do well to remember this on a forum with a wide range of users ages.

So please feel free to whine some more, or move on and post these funnies under your own id's, nothing would of come of this had that been the case. Although I am tiring of some heavily scratched records.

I understand rules are rules, that is fine. Should Eric decide to come to another meet (although after all this I don't think he'll want to see any of you again) then shifty or myself will let him borrow our accounts. We would have done that in the first place, please forgive us for thinking that if he had his own account it would be more entertaining

I do, however, think it's a bit petty that people complained about multiple accounts though, it's not like no one knows who it is, or that we're trolling or giving people abuse. I'd love to know who it was lol

It creates undue hassel and aggro on site and off site in discussions. There is nothing worse than been wound up by a psudeo character, no matter how funny it is, it is not for somebody else and this sort of crap arises which distracts from future fun.

The next person to do this who has contributed to this item or been warned before will have both accounts banned.

@postmanpat, it's obvious most of the time who is duplicated, it's not black and white on ip address alone so if your wife joins no worries we do actually look at a wide range of factors, and we can like most managers take a bung to sort the acocunt out should any unwanted mods be found

The team or I was hung out to dry on how long it took to react to William, since then we've acted much quicker, perhaps sometimes to quickly or harshly, but a rule is now a rule, believe it or not were still relaxed compared to other VAG and other motoring forums, despite what some would make out.
